Phoenix Rising

Phoenix Rising by Cobretti is a bold tribute to the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am and the mythology built around it. A black Trans Am emerges from the darkness beneath an oversized golden Firebird emblem, rendered in sharp contrasts of black, white, and yellow.

The composition transforms the car from machine into symbol—the Firebird rising above it like a phoenix, representing speed, rebellion, survival, and rebirth. With its stark palette and unmistakable late-70s/80s automotive aesthetic, Phoenix Rising captures an era when the Trans Am was more than a car: it was an attitude.
