Synth Secrets by Cobretti transforms the familiar visual language of a QR code into an abstract, retro-digital composition. Blocks of orange, red, brown, and black break apart across a white field, creating something that looks simultaneously machine-readable and deliberately corrupted.
The piece draws on the hidden-code aesthetic of early digital culture, synthwave graphics, and analog-era futurism. Its fragmented structure suggests information concealed inside noise—something meant to be scanned, decoded, or discovered, but never fully revealed.
Synth Secrets is about mystery in the digital age: the idea that beneath every pattern, signal, or system, there may be something waiting to be uncovered.
