Look Back by Cobretti is a stark, minimalist portrait built from deep black silhouettes against an electric blue field. A seated figure turns slightly in profile, framed by rigid horizontal lines that evoke window blinds, surveillance, or the visual interference of an old television signal.
The limited palette gives the piece a cold, nocturnal atmosphere, while the fragmented outlines create a sense of memory, distance, and observation.
