Kingsly by Cobretti is a minimalist black-and-white portrait of Elvis Presley, reduced to the essential features that made his image unmistakable. Bold black shapes define the hair, eyes, collar, and facial shadows, while the exposed canvas forms much of the face.
The piece draws on vintage concert posters, screen printing, and pop-art portraiture, using very little detail to create immediate recognition. The stark contrast gives Elvis a timeless, almost emblematic quality.
Kingsly is less about photographic realism than presence—capturing Elvis as an enduring cultural icon through a raw, simplified visual language.
